1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a session, visiting our studio, or using our website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Seren Touch ("we," "us," or "our"). If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

You must be at least 18 years of age to book and receive our services. By using our services, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

2. Services Description

Seren Touch provides Thai massage and wellness treatments at our Taipei location. Our services include:

• Thai Herbal Steam and Massage sessions
• Prenatal Comfort sessions for expectant mothers
• Extended Relaxation Half-Day Retreat experiences

All treatments are provided by trained practitioners and are intended for relaxation, stress reduction, and general wellness support. Session availability, practitioner assignment, and specific techniques may vary based on scheduling and individual client needs.

3. Booking and Scheduling

3.1 Appointment Confirmation

Appointments are confirmed once you receive a confirmation email or message from us. We recommend booking in advance to ensure your preferred time slot is available.

3.2 Cancellation Policy

We understand that schedules change. If you need to cancel or reschedule:

• Cancellations made 24 hours or more before your appointment will receive a full refund or credit
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the session cost
• No-shows without prior notice will be charged the full session fee

Emergency situations will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel.

3.3 Late Arrivals

If you arrive late for your appointment, your session may need to be shortened to avoid disrupting other clients' scheduled times. You will still be charged the full session rate. Please arrive 10 minutes early to complete any necessary paperwork and begin your session on time.

4. Health and Safety

4.1 Health Disclosure

You are required to disclose any health conditions, injuries, allergies, or medications that may affect your treatment. This includes but is not limited to:

• Recent surgeries or injuries
• Chronic conditions or pain issues
• Pregnancy or possibility of pregnancy
• Blood pressure concerns
• Skin conditions or allergies
• Medications that affect blood clotting or sensitivity

Failure to disclose relevant health information may result in termination of your session without refund and could pose health risks.

4.2 Medical Disclaimer

Our services are not a substitute for medical care. Thai massage is intended for relaxation and wellness support, not for diagnosis or treatment of medical conditions. If you have any medical concerns, please consult with your healthcare provider before booking a session. We may request medical clearance for certain conditions.

4.3 Contraindications

Certain conditions may make massage therapy inappropriate or require modifications. We reserve the right to refuse or modify treatment if we believe it may be harmful to your health. This decision will be made in your best interest and in consultation with you.

4.4 Hygiene

We maintain high standards of cleanliness. We ask that clients arrive clean and freshly showered. If hygiene standards are not met, we reserve the right to reschedule your appointment.

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Pricing

Session prices are listed in Taiwan Dollars (TWD) and are subject to change. Current pricing is available on our website and at our studio. Any price changes will not affect appointments already booked at the previous rate.

5.2 Payment Methods

We accept payment by cash and major credit cards. Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

5.3 Refund Policy

Refunds are available only in accordance with our cancellation policy or if we are unable to provide the service as scheduled. Partial refunds for early termination of sessions at client request are at our discretion.

6. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

• Provide accurate health information and update us of any changes
• Arrive on time for scheduled appointments
• Communicate openly about pressure preferences and comfort during sessions
• Respect our practitioners and staff
• Follow our studio policies and guidelines
• Maintain appropriate conduct during sessions

7. Professional Conduct

All our services are provided in a professional, therapeutic context. Any inappropriate behavior, requests, or conduct will result in immediate termination of the session without refund and may result in being banned from future services. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for sexual harassment or inappropriate advances toward our staff.

8. Privacy and Confidentiality

We respect your privacy and handle your personal and health information with care. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using our services, you consent to our privacy practices as described in that policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Taiwanese law:

• We are not liable for any injuries resulting from failure to disclose relevant health conditions
• We are not responsible for aggravation of pre-existing conditions if proper disclosure was not made
• Our liability for any claims arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific session in question
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages

This limitation does not affect any legal rights that cannot be excluded under Taiwanese consumer protection law.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and design elements, is the property of Seren Touch or used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

11. Modifications to Services

We reserve the right to modify our services, pricing, or policies at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes indicates acceptance of the modified terms.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Taiwan. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Taipei, Taiwan.

13. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
